The book of James speaks of wisdom. It has echos of Jesus’ sayings, Jesus the sage, the wise one.
As we dig into James we will see echoes of the sermon of the mount and the proverbs. As we do this we will see the gospel of Jesus Christ and how we apply this today.
The book of James reminds us what faith in Jesus looks like when tested. We will see what faith and works look like. We will explore being wise in our relationships. James teaches us how to be wise in our character, speech, prayer life, and conduct towards each other and the world we live in.
We look forward to seeing what the Spirit will do in us and through us as we dig into the book of James.
